We want to share some exciting personal news with you. This year, Amy and I have been given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel through Alaska and Canada in our RV—an adventure we have dreamed about for many years. After a great deal of thought, we decided that now is the right time to make this journey while we are blessed with good health, energy, and wonderful friends to travel alongside us.
In the 18 years I have been with OMS OKC, I have taken a few short vacations, but nothing of this magnitude. Barring any emergencies, we expect to be away for approximately 90 days.
This trip is something we do not want to look back on someday and wish we had done. We feel incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to take this time, and equally grateful for customers like you who make our work meaningful and enjoyable.
We also want to assure you that Oklahoma Mortuary Service will continue to operate smoothly while we are away. Over the past several years, we have intentionally prepared our team to step forward and manage day-to-day operations. They have proven themselves capable, professional, and dedicated to providing the same level of service and care you expect from OMS. You will be in excellent hands every step of the way.
We are also deeply appreciative of the support you have given Oklahoma Mortuary Service over the years, especially since Amy and I took ownership in 2018. Your trust, feedback, and partnership have helped us build the company we are proud of today.
